Welcome

Hi there and welcome to my web-site! Read here about my professional activities as a research assistant at Idiap Research Institute and a PhD student at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.

My research, performed under the European TABULA RASA project, is focused on the task of biometric anti-spoofing for face recognition. In simple words, I am developing algorithms to detect if someone is trying to access your face recognition protected device by displaying your photograph or recording in front of its camera.

Besides biometrics, my work activities are all about digging into computer vision, applying machine learning and a lot of Python programming.

Now read more about myself and my work, or try out my code!
